Jack Wilshere has signed a deal with West Ham for three years, after his contract with Arsenal officially ended.
The former Arsenal midfielder, who’d spent his whole career with the North London club apart from seasons on loan at Bolton Wanderers and Bournemouth, left the Emirates after Unai Emery told him he could not be assured of a starting spot in the team.
Wilshere joined Arsenal at a very young age but unlucky with injury problems that saw him off the pitch so many times.
In a statement on the website Wilshere said, “It feels good, it feels special. Many people know that I’ve had a special bond with this Club growing up.

“People will have seen the picture of me in a West Ham shirt and I’ve got good memories of my childhood supporting West Ham, watching them at Upton Park. It feels good and of course my family and a few of my friends are West Ham fans so everyone’s buzzing.”
