FORMER Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane shockingly quit Los Blancos after securing a third Champions League trophy, allowing for him to spend more time with his wife.
The French superstar will be courted by some of Europe’s top clubs after he lifted the much-prized trophy in Kiev after Real Madrid thumped Liverpool 3-1 last week.
Under the ex-midfielder, Los Blancos have won three back-to-back Champions League finals.
But, now Zidane can focus on his next steps with dedicated wife Veronique.
The pair first met back in 1988, while the then 17-year-old Frenchman played for Cannes.
Veronique later admitted that she and Zidane had run into each other several times before they first spoke.
They went on to get married in 1994 and have since had four sons together.
Veronique and Zidane have often been seen together at top-tier events where they mix with some of the biggest names in sport.
On each occasion, brunette Veronique shows off her classy style and slim figure in a number of different tight-fitting dresses.
She was born in Rodez, France, to Spanish parents and went on to become a professional dancer after dropping out of university.
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has emerged as the bookies’ favourite to succeed Zidane but Perez insisted he has no replacements lined up.
Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino is also likely to be among the leading contenders.
