ENGLAND star Danny Rose has seen his £55m dream move to Manchester United collapse.It is understood United boss Jose Mourinho believes he already has enough cover at left back in the shape of Ashley Young, Luke Shaw and new signing Diogo Dalot.

Mourinho is even willing to give Shaw one more season to prove himself at Old Trafford, having previously given up on him.

He has now told executive viceHe has endured a difficult relationship with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and is keen to make a fresh start somewhere else.

The Yorkshire-born star was fined last season after angering club bosses with an interview in which he claimed Spurs didn’t pay their best players enough money. chairman Ed Woodward that signing Tottenham full-back Rose is no longer a priority.

The news will be a blow to Rose, 27, who had set his heart on joining United and securing a return to the north to be closer to his family.Rose revealed last week how he had struggled with depression during an injury hit last 18 months.United’s decision to pull out of the race to sign him though was not influenced by his candid admission.

Rose, who has travelled to Russia yesterday as part of the England World Cup squad, remains determined to leave Spurs this summer.He has endured a difficult relationship with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and is keen to make a fresh start somewhere else.
