PARIS ST-GERMAIN youngster Yacine Adli has shot down reports claiming that he’s rethinking a move to Arsenal.Adli appeared poised to join the Gunners this summer after it was claimed he has agreed a three-year deal.
But the move was thrown into doubt when French reports from RMC claimed that Adli was in London, but having second thoughts over the switch.
However, the midfielder fired back at the reports on his Instagram story and even included a location tag that proved that he was indeed still in France.
He said: “You have no idea what you’re on about.”
Adli, who often featured for PSG’s U19s, was handed his senior debut by Unai Emery as a sub in the final Ligue 1 match of the season.
He also won the club’s best young player of the season award. And his talents have also been recognised at international level where he has been capped for the French Under-16, U17 and U18 teams.
Gunners legend Robert Pires gave his opinion on Adli, and it sound like good news for fans of Arsenal should they land their man.
“He’s a talented player,” Pires said. “He has very good qualities, very fast with the ball.Sometimes he can score. I know Unai Emery likes this player.
“I don’t know what’s happened the last two days, but if he joins Arsenal, I think he will be a good player for the new squad.”
The Emirates outfit face PSG in a pre-season friendly in the New Singapore National Stadium on July 27.
