Real Madrid players and staff will touch down in Wales any moment from now as they prepare to take on Serie A winners Juventus in tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League final at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Real are on course to become the first ever European club to retain the Champions League after winning it last year, beating Spanish capital rivals Atletico Madrid on penalties in Milan.
The Real squad appeared in high spirits as they posed for the camera and posted selfies on Instagram while inside the plane as they prepared to make their way to Wales.
One player who is extra-excited about tomorrow’s tie is Real winger Gareth Bale who posted the lively picture alongside Croatian midfielder Luka Modric via his official Twitter account as the 25-year-old is hoping to lift the continental trophy on home soil.
Bale captioned the pic: “Cardiff here we come!”.
