Anthony Martial’s Manchester United could be facing an early exit out of the club with the striker ready to tell the club of his desire to leave.
According to the Daily Express, who have reported that Martial wants to leave Old Trafford in the wake of attempting to build upon an impressive debut campaign in England.
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has frequently talked about Martial not propelling himself sufficiently hard enough to seal a regular spot in the starting XI, and the Portuguese boss would purportedly have no apprehensions about enabling him to leave in the event that he wishes to do as such.
Martial tumbled down the pecking order of United’s striking alternatives as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and youngster Marcus Rashford were favored up top to the 21-year-old.
With bits of gossip about looming entries for Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic, Martial could see his amusement time cut significantly in Manchester and would be in threat of passing up a major opportunity for a place in France’s 2018 World Cup squad.
With the ex-Monaco starlet seemingly up for grabs, a trio of London clubs are all thought to be circling in case his availability is made more clear cut.
Those interested include United’s fellow top six sides Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, while West Ham United – thought to be at the front of the queue for Martial – have been linked with the forward as far back as last December.
However, Martial is believed to be in favour of a return to his homeland and a possible switch to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
