Liverpool have at long last made a solid move to sign Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Mirror report that the Reds have at last made an immediate enquiry to the Gunners as they hope to secure a £25m deal for Ox, who they have been connected with for various months.
Liverpool are hoping to capitalize on the recent breakdown in contract talks between Arsenal and Chamberlain. They are willing to match the Gunners valuation and make him their third summer signing.
The Reds recently broke the club record to complete the transfer of AS Roma attacker Mohamed Salah for a fee of around £37million.
