Bayern Munich forward, Kingsley Coman, was reportedly arrested and held in police custody on Monday morning in connection to the allegation from his ex-girlfriend that he utilized matrimonial brutality against her at her home.
The prosecutor’s office affirmed that the 21-year-old was questioned by police in Chessy, Seine-et-Marne – approximately 25 miles from central Paris – following his ex’s allegation.
According to reports from Europe 1, two violent disputes erupted between the pair on Saturday and Monday over what is believed to about money from a large advertising contract.
The woman made contact with police on Monday where she filed the complaint against Coman, where he was then arrested later that morning.
The 21-year-old was held by police for a few hours where he acknowledge the facts of his arrest, and was later released with his trial date set for September.
Coman made his move to Bayern from Juventus permanent in a £16m deal last summer after the German champions triggered the deal in his loan contract.
