Barcelona’s 29-year-old talisman has reiterated his commitment to the La Liga giants after claiming he has no intention of leaving the Camp Nou outfit anytime soon.
Argentina forward Lionel Messi has revealed he wants to end his career at Barcelona.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner came through the ranks at the Catalan club to become the best player in world, winning almost every domestic prize and individual award of offer at the Nou Camp.
However, Messi has been recently linked with a possible exit from the club especially with his current contract set to expire at the end of next season but he has no immediate plans of quitting the club that brought him fame and fortunes.
“It’s what I always wanted and dreamed. I would love to finish my career at Barcelona,” he told Tencent Sports.
Messi is expected to sign a fresh and improved bumper three-year extension to his current deal before the commencement of next campaign.
Argentina will take on Brazil in an international friendly tomorrow at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia and Messi would be looking to inspire his side to victory.
