AC Milan seem to have won the race to sign Porto striker Andre Silva, as reports claim that he has touched base in Italy for a medical ahead of his move to the San Siro.
Gazzetta dello Sport, through Football Italia, guarantee that the Portuguese universal was seen touching base at La Madonnina facility on Monday morning as he gets ready to experience the vital medical examinations.
Once finished, the Rossoneri are likely to make a statement confirming the transfer, which could well see them cough up as much as €38m.
Silva is reported to have agreed a five-year deal that will keep him at the San Siro until the summer of 2022.
He is required to be given the number 10 jersey, and once the medical is finished, he will be flown back to Russia where he will join the Portugal national squad for the Confederations Cup competition that commences next Saturday.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed another season his home land, where he scored 21 times in 44 appearances for Porto.
