UCL: Monaco youngster makes history

Ligue 1 side Monaco are 2-0 up against their German counterparts Borussia Dortmund in tonight’s Champions League quarter-finals tie after 18-year-old most sought after forward Kylian Mbappe put the host in front.

Monaco carried a 3-2 advantage into tonight’s game, having defeated Dortmund in a rescheduled fixture last week.

Dortmund needed to get off to a good start tonight if they wanted to have any chance of reaching the semi-finals – but they have failed to do so.

What a cool finish this is from the French international Mbappe and he has just carved his name into Champions League history as he becomes the first player to ever score in his first four knock-out games in the European elite club competition.
