The 28-year-old Chilean striker was dropped for Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool on Saturday at Anfield in a Premier League clash and latest report claims the former Barcelona ace is ready to quit the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.
The Chilean was furious and humiliated after being dropped by manager Arsène Wenger for the clash with Liverpool and now his relationship with the Frenchman, the manager’s staff and his team-mates is becoming increasingly strained.
As a result, Sanchez has now made the decision not to sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium with the intention of leaving before the start of next season.
Inside sources at the north London club claim Wenger has been less than impressed with Sanchez’s attitude in recent weeks, particularly his behaviour during the crushing loss to Bayern Munich.
Also, his team-mates have noticed Sanchez has become much more distant in recent weeks. Wenger and his staff have not been happy with his attitude at the training ground since the 5-1 defeat at Bayern where he was filmed berating his colleagues during and after the game at the Allianz Arena in Germany.
Sanchez, who has been strongly linked with Serie A champions Juventus and Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, currently rejected a new £180,000 per week contract at Arsenal as he remains keen on a massive pay rise worth £250,000. He has scored 62 goals in 128 matches for Arsenal since summer of 2014.
