Paris Saint-Germain Director of Football Patrick Kluivert has reportedly started work on convincing Arsenal playmaker Alexis Sanchez to join the French champions.
According to Canal Supporters – who are supposedly a reputable source – the former Dutch international is attempting to persuade the Chilean attacker – who is currently involved in a protracted contract stand-off with the Premier League club – against signing an extension to his current deal.
It is thought that PSG are aiming to ultimately convince Sanchez to sign in the summer and believe they may be able to acquire his services for a reasonable price, given his contract expires in 2018.
Speculation over Sanchez’s future has been persistent this season after reports claimed the player demanded £200,000-a-week before he signed a new deal.
But Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said he is confident the Chilean international will sign a new deal with the club.
