Most live in luxurious homes and drive super fast cars that come at ridiculous prices but a few just settle for modesty.
One of those living the modest lifestyle is Chelsea defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante who drives a mini cooper.
The 25-year-old France international has revealed the reason for his relatively cheap choice of automobile is because he never thought he would grow up to own a car.
“Me, I’ve never been someone who loves a car and when I was young I didn’t have the ambition of a car or something like that,” Kante told the Sunday Times.
“But, uh, my Mini, for the beginning, was good to learn to drive on the left. I got it in Leicester. And I still have it now. But it’s good.”
Kante has built a reputation as one of the most tenacious tacklers in the Premier League since he arrived from Leicester City in the summer, fresh from lifting his first English topflight title after moving in from France.
He has completed 30 tackles in 17 appearances for league leaders Chelsea this season, scoring once in the 4-0 demolition of Manchester United and has created 12 chances.
Sad news for the Blues is Kante will miss Chelsea’s Boxing Day clash with Bournemouth after picking up a fifth yellow card of the campaign at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
