No player at Arsenal has worked as hard as Alexis Sanchez this season not to talk of the Chile striker’s goalscoring exploit in his new attacking role under Arsène Wenger.

Sanchez has featured in all Arsenal’s Premier League matches this term scoring 14 goals in 23 outings for the Gunners in all competitions and the 28-year-old energetic attacker has taken time out to explain how he keeps fit.

“I have always been like this,” he told Arsenal Player.

“My career won´t last forever and I am aiming to be one of the best players in the world. I want to do my best and be professional until my career ends.

“I enjoy football a lot, I always wanted to be one of the best players in the world and I´ve been saying that since I was a little boy,” Sanchez told Arsenal Player.

“I will slow down after I retire, but for the time being I will carry on like this.

“I just try to train well, sleep well and be professional at my job. There´s no much of a secret to it.”

Arsenal host West Bromwich Albion on Boxing Day at the Emirates Stadium as they look to close the gap on league leaders Chelsea who lead them by nine points.
