Liverpool have reportedly expressed interest in taking Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia on loan in January, according to Web Calcio.
Despite having one of the strongest midfield in the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp is not shying away from bringing in another midfielder.
Kondogbia signed for Inter in 2015 for a whopping fee of £31m and has largely failed to meet expectations at the San Siro and came under stinging criticism from manager Frank de Boer recently after a 1-1 draw with Bologna during which the player was substituted after just 28 minutes.
De Boer accused Kondogbia of not listening to instructions from the coaching staff and blasted the Frenchman for repeatedly making the same mistake. The view now, at Liverpool, is that the out-of-favour midfielder can be lured to Anfield on loan – meaning Liverpool do not have to contend with his wages.
