Certain things don’t just add up and this definitely will make you giggle. The Wales senior national team have been culpable for not being well organised while taking team photos prior to kick-off of matches, a mischief that has extended to a decade.

Even their manager Chris Coleman was plunged into a state of paraplegia when asked to explain the idea behind his side’s bizarre pre-match snaps.

Wales most recent abysmal team formation came ahead of their 1-1 draw against Georgia, the latest in a long line of amusing snaps.

Coleman told Gabby Logan on The Premier League Show: “Our guys are doing what they want. It’s not the prettiest but they are doing what they want.

“The first time it really came to my attention was in the last camp. I asked Neil Taylor, but he didn’t really give anything up. He just said they have been doing it for some time.

“I still don’t know the reason for it and I see it all over the internet now where there’s all sorts of formations going on. I don’t know if I’m honest, I’ll try and get to the bottom of it.”

The Dragons have been on the horizon under Coleman, finishing in the semi-finals of this summer’s European Championship in France, a stark contrast to their photo misdemeanour.

They took the lead through Gareth Bale on Sunday in the World Cup qualifiers but were pegged back in the second half and were perhaps lucky to escape the clash against the Georgians with a point.

Wales host Serbia in November as they continue to stake a claim for a place at Russia 2018.
