Leicester’s new record signing Islam Slimani struck twice on his Premier League debut to fire the champions to a deserved victory.
The Foxes suffered a 4-1 loss last weekend to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side but bounced back with a win in Wednesday Champions League fixture against Club Brugge.
Leicester dominated the match and scored twice either side of the break with headers from Algerian ace Slimani in the 45 and 48 minutes.
He opened the scoring from Christian Fuchs’ free-kick before Jamie Vardy flicked Riyad Mahrez’s cross into his path.
Man of the match Mahrez then forced Ben Mee into putting through his own net.
