Crystal Palace have returned with a new bid for Liverpool striker Christian Benteke but the club has rejected.
Wit the funds gotten from the sale of Yannick Bolasie to Everton, Palace has submitted a bid of €35 million for the Belgian striker.
Although the offer matches the Merseyside club’s valuation, such are the terms of the deal it is not acceptable to Liverpool.
Palace offered an initial €25 million with a further €10 million in add-ons.
Those clauses are not considered realistic and Liverpool want much more upfront for him.
Liverpool has told Crystal Palace that the terms should be reviewed.
