Liverpool have finally accepted an improved bid of £32m from Crystal Palace for Belgian striker Christian Benteke.
Benteke who moved to Anfield for £32.5m in the Brendan Rodgers era has fallen down the pecking order in the squad under German boss Jurgen Klopp.
The likes of Daniel Sturridge, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi have seen his playing time for the Merseyside cut short.
Crystal Palace are now ready to give him an escape route and om an escape route and offer first team football.
The Reds manager said earlier this month “it makes sense” for Benteke to move on, and Palace are prepared to pay an initial £27m plus £5m in add-ons.
