Report has surfaced that 12 Real Madrid supporters were murdered on Saturday, the night Los Blancos won their record 11th Champions League title by beating city rivals Atletico Madrid 5-4 on penalties at San Siro.
Few weeks ago, a similar attack in the Iraqi city of Samarra resulted in 16 Real fans killed by gunmen while they were watching replays of past matches in a supporters club and now another tragedy has struck.
According to Spanish tabloid Marca, the latest violence occurred in the city of Baakouba, 16 kilometres north of Baghdad.
The report indicates that further
terrorist violence in Iraq resulted in the
murders of this recent 12 Real fans during their Champions League victory over Atleti and is believed to have been masterminded by the same terrorist group – ISIS
