France international Anthony Martial is fighting a race to be fit ahead of the final two Barclays Premier League matches left for Manchester United this season.

However, it is understood the 20-year-old former Monaco striker will miss one of those games with a muscle tweak which he picked during warm-up prior to the Red Devils’ 1-0 win over Norwich City on Saturday.

It has been confirmed Martial will miss United’s crucial game against West Ham United on Tuesday night but is hoping to be fit for the club’s final league match of the season against Bournemouth.

As it stands, Martial’s fitness will be tested throughout the week by club’s physios as United aim to get him fit for Bournemouth and with the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace on May 21 looming.
