Radamel Falcao has confirmed he will be leaving Chelsea at the end of the 2015/16 season.
The 30-year-old has been a peripheral figure at Stamford Bridge this term, featuring 10 times in the Premier League, making just one start and scoring only one goal during what has been a disappointing season for both the Colombian and Chelsea as well.
Falcao, who has had a failed loan spell at Manchester United before joining the Blues, has however confirmed he will be returning to Monaco.
“In February, Chelsea told me that they were no longer counting on me, so I will not be continuing with that club,” Falcao told Sky Sports
“Monaco made a big investment in me and they want some return on that. They want me back at the club for next season.
“I need to have minutes, to play, and we’ll see what happens. Monaco want to see what my position is in a year, to see what possibilities I have.”
