La Liga side Malaga have reportedly approached Manchester United in attempts to sign out of favour Brazilian midfielder Andreas Pereira this summer.
According to Don Balon, Malaga boss Javi Gracia is reportedly ready to build his team around the 20-year-old having made him a top priority.
However, it is understood United are scared of letting another potential gem leave Old Trafford as they’re still regretting the exodus of French midfielder Paul Pogba up till date.
Pogba has won three consecutive Serie A titles at Juve since 2011 and has gone on to establish himself as one of the best midfielders in world football at 23.
Though, Pereira is also looking for an escape route with youngsters such as Marcus Rashford and Timothy Fosu-Mensah flourishing under Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal this term but he has found chances harder to come by.
Pereira reportedly wanted a loan move away from United in the January transfer window but was denied by the Dutchman who sees him as a veritable talent especially amid mounting injury crisis at the club.
