The teenage Nigerian midfielder has confirmed he has penned a five-year contract with Arsenal from Diamond Football Academy for a fee which will rise to about £3m.
“I just came back from London, I have signed a five-year contract with Arsenal,” he was quoted by the Mirror.
“So many teams were interested in me but it has been my dream at a tender age to play for Arsenal.”
Kelechi Nwakali, who won player of the

The 17-year-old will join fellow Nigerian Alex Iwobi at the Emirates Stadium when he completes his move to the Premier League giants.
