Spanish defender Hector Bellerin has revealed he is completely focused on Arsenal and he is ‘happy’ at the north London club despite persistent rumours linking him with Emirates Stadium exit.
The 21-year-old is a product of Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy but he failed to break into the first team but has been a regular for Arsene Wenger’s side so far fighting off competition from Mathieu Debuchy for the right-back position.
Bellerin has made 36 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season.
“I left Barca without looking back. I left focused on London and Arsenal and I am really happy there,” Bellerin said.
“I signed a new deal last year and there’s still a lot in front of me. It’s a club that’s forming a great team, with players like Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Özil.
“My future is there and I am happy where I am. A lot of things can happen in football, but I am at Arsenal, giving my all for the club. I am not thinking of going anywhere else.”
