Jack Wilshere is yet to kick the ball for Arsenal this season but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reassured England manager Roy Hodgson that the 24-year-old England midfielder will be fit for this summer’s European championship in France.

Wilshere was due back this month but his return has been delayed until mid-March as the Gunners medics department continue to take cautious approach on his rehabilitation.

Meanwhile, Wenger insists Wilshere has not suffered a set-back with the Frenchman claiming the delay is down to precaution more than anything else.
