Jack Wilshere is almost a forgotten man having not kicked the ball for Arsenal in a single competitive game this season due to a lengthy injury that has blighted his career.
However, the 24-year-old England midfielder is determined to make an impact for Arsene Wenger’ side before the end of the current campaign and has now forecast March 16 as his possible return date.
Wilshere is hoping to feature in the second leg of Gunners Champions League tie against Barcelona at Camp Nou in three weeks time.
When asked if he could return for the
Barcelona match by BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey, Wilshere replied: “I’m running. It gets harder and harder to get back into the Premier League.
“Maybe…three weeks. I hope so. Maybe.”
