Manchester United have ordered Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund to cancel Adnan Januzaj’s loan spell and allow the 20-year-old Belgian forward return to Old Trafford this week.
It is understood Januzaj’s pro-tem stint at the Signal Iduna Park has been an
absolute disaster since he ignored the advice of manager Louis van Gaal and opted for a switch to Germany in search of regular football.
Instead, he has started only one league game for his current club this season with coach Thomas Tuchel stating that he was not mentally ready for the demands of first-team football.
Januzaj was last seen at Old Trafford on December 28, 2015, seated at the directors box during United’s entertaining 0-0 draw with Chelsea.
