Former Al-Ahly player Ahmed Nabil Manga has named his son after Arsenal star, KingFut has confirmed.
Nabil is believed to be a life-long Arsenal supporter and his love for the Gunners grew even stronger after his former team-mate Mohamed Elneny sealed a move to the Emirates Stadium last week from Belgian club Basel.
Manga and Elneny played together for the Al-Ahly youth divisions before Elneny levitated to the Swiss League.
The 24-year-old Smouha right-back has now named his son after German midfield general Mesut Ozil.
However, Ozil will not be on the newborn’s official birth certificate, but will be some sort of affectionate nickname instead.
The real Ozil himself has created more goals in the Barclays Premier League this season than the entire Chelsea and Manchester United squads combined with 16 assists and four goals to his name.
