Manchester United stars turned out in full force on Friday afternoon though in their training kits as they celebrated Anthony Martial’s 20th birthday at Carrington.
The French striker who joined United from Ligue 1 club Monaco for a reported transfer fee of £58m in the summer will turn 20 on Saturday, the day Louis van Gaal’s side host West Ham United at Old Trafford in the Barclays Premier League.
Martial and his team-mates were pictured in high spirits as they entered the Lowry Hotel on the eve of the match against the Hammers with United’s chief chef Mike following closely behind with packs of birthday cakes.
The Massy-born talented forward had earlier been treated to a birthday cake in the morning after training.
Martial, who has scored just five goals for club and country this season in 24 matches will be looking to increase his tally when United face West Ham on Saturday.
