Spanish tabloid AS is reporting that Real Madrid have stepped up their pursuit of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski after the player’s agent Cezary Kucharski was pictured at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.

Kucharski was on hand to watch Madrid batter Getafe 4-1 in a La Liga clash from the president’s box but sceptics believe the former Poland international was in Spain to negotiate a deal and was assumed to be that of 27-year-old Polish striker Lewandowski who has scored 26 goals in 26 appearances for club and country so far this season.

Lewandowski arrived at the Allianz Arena in the summer of 2014 from rivals Borussia Dortmund and has become one of Europe’s deadliest strikers which has led Real to step up their interest in the star stunner.

It is understood he seems interested in a move to the Spanish capital club and a deal could be agreed before June.
