Barcelona have confirmed Lionel Messi is fit for Saturday’s El Clasico clash with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Blaugrana boss Luis Enrique revealed at Friday’s pre-match press conference that a decision had already been made on how many minutes the 27-year-old Argentine phenomenal forward will play at the Santiago Bernabeu, hinting that the four-time Ballon d’Or winner could even start the La Liga clash.
“All my sensations are positive – not just because we lead the table but for the resources I have at my disposal,” Enrique said.
“Messi is back, that is the main thing. He is short of training sessions and it’s impossible that he is 100 per cent but it’s a guarantee for us that he is with us again.”
