Crystal Palace could have beaten Manchester United on Saturday if they had taken their chances in the Barclays Premier League tie at Selhurst Park with Yohan Cabaye the biggest culprit.
Even manager of the Old Trafford club Louis van Gaal admitted after the game that the Eagles were the ‘better side’ on the day.
The Red Devils only managed two shots on targets for 90 minutes in a game where the strikers failed to turn up and Ander Herrera was the only attacking threat and Palace midfielder Cabaye claims this United team he played last weekend is the worst ever after facing them while he was at Newcastle United.
Cabaye lashed at United’s possession and passing football without enough chances created and no goals scored and feels they can’t do anything and Louis van Gaal’s side did not fear them a bit that day.
For the record, United’s last three matches have ended in a goalless draw.
“I remember I played against Manchester United for Newcastle they could score at every moment in a game,” Cabaye said.
“Here they did not have the big chances to score. Wayne Rooney had a free-kick in the first half and that was about it.”
