AC Milan are 11th in the Serie A this term after seven matches played as new manager Sinisa Mihajlovic adjusts to life at San Siro.
Though Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi isn’t too happy with the situation as he expects the Rossoneri to start challenging for honours once again but he’s confident things will change stating from next week after the international break.
While speaking at a political event this week, former Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi shared a lighted-hearted banter on how he could have ‘poisoned’ Mihajlovic whose side has lost back to back league games as well as club’s chief executive Adriano Galliani when the pair had dinner with him.
“(CEO Adriano) Galliani and Mihajlovic came over to have dinner with me. I could even have poisoned them!” Berlusconi said as he retains trust in Mihajlovic.
“You’ll see that from the next match there will be changes. Milan will return to being in control of the game.”
