German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger who signed for Manchester United this summer from Bayern Munich has been basking in the euphoria of the familial ambience at the club since he switched the Allianz Arena for Old Trafford.
The 28-year-old World Cup winner so far has found the humorous’ atmosphere’ at United’s training base at Carrington very fascinating which is helping him feel at home and settle down quickly.
“They have a special sense of humour. That I immediately noticed,” Schweinsteiger told BILD.
“I was walking with two plates in the lunch room when a teammate asked, ‘Basti, what time is it?’. He hoped that I would look at my watch and drop everything out of my hands!
“I find that quite amusing.”
