Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo has dismissed talks of him joining Manchester City on a short term deal after he completed his transfer to MLS side New York City FC from Juventus.
The mercurial midfielder enjoyed his footballing career in AC Milan before moveing to Turin giants Juventus where he spent four years winning trophies with the side.
Speculation are going on that Pirlo will follow the footsteps of former Chelsea star Frank Lampard and move to the Etihad on a short term spell.
Goal.com has now reported that Pirlo will not fancy a move to the Premier League and he is ready to remain at his new American club.
Pirlo is not likely to make his debut this weekend but English duo of Lampard and Steven Gerrard are expected to make his MLS debut for New York City and Los Angeles Galaxy respectively on Saturday.
