Chelsea are interested in signing Radamel Falcao this summer, manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed.
Mourinho revealed he has outlined three strikers this transfer window and Manchester United flop Falcao is one of them while also stating Chelsea won’t be selling any player.
Mourinho is looking for a replacement for departing legendary Ivorian goal poacher Didier Drogba as they weigh up the possibility of a loan move for Falcao who scored just four goals for United last season after joining from Monaco.
The Portuguese tactician is convinced signing the 29-year-old Colombian striker will make his team better.
“We will be better,” Mourinho told the Sunday Times.
“I don’t see our team losing players. I don’t see our team losing our qualities, especially our mental, emotional approach to matches, to the season, to the competition.
“We have to buy a striker because we want to have three strikers of a good level.”
