He has been strongly linked with a summer transfer to Manchester United all year long amidst reports of fallout with Real Madrid fans but Gareth Bale isn’t ready to back out.

The 25-year-old Welsh winger has now confirmed he will be staying at Madrid next season and he has warned some bullish club fans to “get used” to him as he aspires to win more trophies after last year’s Champions League triumph with the Los Blancos.

“Of course, yes,” Bale told The Sun when asked if he would still be in Madrid next season.

“I’m a Real Madrid player and I’ll carry on as normal. I am enjoying it and hopefully I can continue to.

“I feel settled. I’m looking forward now to playing and winning more trophies.

“My goal is to keep improving, performing and to win as many titles as I can.”
