2007 Fifa World Player of the year, Kaka recently gave an exclusive interview to the Daily Mail in which he picked his all time world XI.
The Brazilian who now plays for Orlando City in the MLS chose skilful Brazilian Ronaldinho over 27 year old record breaker Lionel Messi.
“I played against Lionel Messi, but Ronaldinho makes my final slot. He is a genius” said Kaka.
“He can do things with the ball you don’t understand. During training you see a lot of things you don’t see in the game. In training he was free from the emotional part, the responsibility of matches. In training he was free to do what he wanted.”
Now aged 32, Kaka went for European connection in his midfield with famous Brazilians Roberto Carlos and Cafu as wing backs.
His forward men comprises of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho which would certainly have defenders on their toes.
On his former Real Madrid teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka said “He is the best player on the planet at the moment, a special player.”
Kaka also chose Dida over Iker Casillas in goal and partnered AC Milan legends and former teammates Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Nesta in the heart of the defence.
Finally, he defended his move to the MLS, saying he still hopes to make Brazil’s 2018 World Cup squad.
