Barcelona coach, Luis Enrique leapt in defence of his main buy, Luis Suarez after attempts of English media to dig up another issue against the Uruguay striker.
Enrique has accused English media of launching a campaign over Luis Suarez after some rumours he bit another opponent in UEFA Champions League on tuesday.
Suarez, who was out of football for four months due to his bite controversy at the 2014 World Cup against Italy Giorgio Chiellini.
Suarez moved to spain from Liverpool during the biting incident but returned to England to play against Manchester City on tuesday, but despite his brace, many media outlets in the UK instead focused on images which they claimed appeared to show Suarez biting the hand of Martin Demichelis.
“Unfortunately it’s something normal in some parts of the world to have these sort of campaigns against somebody,” Luis Enrique said.
“Luis Suarez already knows he will always be watched, even he has said many times that he made a mistake.”
“We have seen this kind of campaigns against players, president, supporters.”
