Daily Mail has reported that Chelsea are leading the race to sign in-demand Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric.
Kramaric who plays for HNK Rijeka is being targeted by clubs all over Europe after scoring 28 goals in all competitions this season, and the Croatian outfit are set to cash in on their asset.
Earlier in December Premier League side Leiciester City offered £7.9million for this services, however the move fell through with Kramaric keen on signing for a bigger club.
The likes of AC Milan, Juventus, Inter, and Tottenham Hotspur have all made enquiries, but according to Serie A side Atalanta, the 23-year-old is set on joining Chelsea.
However it seems like Kramaric will be loaned out by the Blues once the deal is complete, with Leicester keen on luring him over to the King Power Stadium for the rest of the season.
Rijeka sporting director Streck Juricic explained: “In next days we will again meet with people from Leicester City and we will talk a little bit more.
“Our main goal is that both sides must be happy with the potential transfer: we as a club and he as a striker. So we are not only talking with Leicester City, but also to other clubs.”
