Portugal maverick midfielder Raul Meireles has taken his affection for tattoos to another level with his new freshly crafted full-length leg art work.
The 31-year-old Fenerbahce midfielder posted the new design on Twitter on Wednesday and claimed not be in pain.
The tattoo includes the faces of three women, a pocket watch and one of Portuguese capital Lisbon’s famous
trams surrounded by musical notes and a black rose.
The former Liverpool and Chelsea player is well known for putting a lot of time into his appearance, mostly in form of bizarre bushy beards, carefully constructed mohawk, or his ridiculous tattoos.
It’s just a matter of time before Meireles covers his entire epidermal layer with crazy tattoos and guess what, the current beards he sported at Brazil 2014 might be four times its original size few months from now.
Meanwhile, Portugal plays USA on Sunday at the Arena da Amazonia, Manaus, in their second group G game and will hope to put a demoralising 4-0 thrashing by Germany behind them as they bid to progress in the tourney.
