Carlos Queiroz has named his provisional 28-man Iran squad for next month’s World Cup in Brazil as the Asian nation open training camps in Tehran and Austria.
Iran are in Group F alongside African champions Nigeria, Argentina and Bosnia-Herzegovina for the opening round of June 12 to July 13 tournament in Rio.
Rubin Kazan forward Sardar Azmoun, Fulham midfielder Ashkan Dejagah and Charlton forward Reza Ghoochannejhad are named in the preliminary squad.
