Dani Alves has told Brazil team-mates at Paris Saint-Germain that he will join them at Parc des Princes after the World Cup when he completes his move to France from Barcelona.
The right-back will be 31 in June and his contract with Barcelona runs until summer of 2015, but he looks to finally bring to an end an incredible 11-year career in Spain.
He has won every available honour with Sevilla and Barcelona but will be the first out of Barca exit when Barca begin their clear-out and the defender has confided in Thiago Silva and Alex that he is confident of joining them in PSG’s defence next season.
The Brazilian defender won two UEFA Cups, a Spanish Super Cup, a European Super Cup and Copa del Rey for Sevilla before being the first player to sign for Barça in the Pep Guardiola era in 2008.
At Barcelona he won two more Copa del Rey trophies, four Spanish leagues, two Champions Leagues, two World Club Cups, four Spanish Super Cups and two European Super Cups. And he remains one of the most decorated defender in the history of the Spanish football.
