Liverpool have announced their pre-season tour of the United States of America this summer, which include participation in the Guinness international Champions Cup kicking off with a clash against Olympiacos, Manchester City and ending with Italian giants AC Milan on Sunday July 27, Wednesday July 30 and Saturday August 2 respectively.
Venues for the matches are at the Soldier Field stadium in Chicago, the Yankee Stadium in New York and at the Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte accordingly.
Reds hero Robbie Fowler was present to unveil the news at the Yankee Stadium in New York.
He said: “I travelled with the team when we were last in the USA in 2012.
“It was a phenomenal experience. We did a lot of work in local communities and saw first-hand some fantastic charitable projects in this country.
“To top it off, thousands of fans travelled to see Liverpool play, it was a humbling experience to be part of one of the world’s greatest football families.”
