Cesc Fabregas will be willing to make a move to Premier League champions Manchester United if his services are no longer needed at the Camp Nou.
United submitted a €30 million bid for the Spaniard on Monday. Sources close to the player said “Cesc would go if Barcelona agreed to sell him.”
The former Arsenal player wants more playing time at Barcelona in the upcoming season but things are not looking too positive, as the player believes he does not fit into Tito Vilanova’s plan.
New Manchester United manager David Moyes is confident he can lure Fabregas to Old Trafford despite losing out on Thiago Alcantara, who joined Bayern Munich.
Before a deal can be done United will face stiff competition from Arsenal as both teams race to sign the 26-year-old.
Arsene Wenger is keen in bringing back Fabregas to the Emirates after the player left in 2011.
Both teams are also trying to secure the services of Everton attacker Marouane Fellaini. But the question is – Will Manchester United and Arsenal be ready to meet Fellaini’s €25 million release clause?
