Turin giants Juventus have announced Fernando Llorente will undergo a medical with the club on Monday before being unveiled by the club.
Llorente will be joining the Italian club on a free from Athletic Bilbao. His contract will expire at the Spanish club on June 30.
The striker was linked with a move to Manchester united in 2012. But the 28-year-old have agreed to join Juventus this summer. Llorente’s move will make him Juventus second star signing after securing the services of Carlos Tevez from Manchester City.
Juventus released a statement on the club’s official website that read : “The 28-year-old is scheduled to touch down at Turin’s Caselle airport on Monday lunchtime before completing the required medical checks.”
He (Llorente) has scored over 85 goals for the La Liga outfit.
